vivo X50 Summary
The Vivo X50 is certainly one of the best-looking phones I've recently seen from the brand, and it looks striking from every angle, just like the Vivo X50 Pro. It boasts a 6.56-inch AMOLED screen that is HDR10+ certified, full-HD+ in quality and has a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Overall, the Vivo X50 is a superbly constructed smartphone with a high-end feel in the hand.
The Funtouch OS 10.5, which is based on Android 10, is the same software that powers the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro. There is a lot crammed into this customized Android skin, starting with a ton of unnecessary programs including Vivo's own browser, email client, and app store, none of which can be removed. The performance of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC, which powers the Vivo X50, has been nothing short of excellent. The UI always responds quickly owing to the high-refresh-rate screen, and multitasking is not an issue. The phone unlocks quickly and seamlessly. The Vivo X50's battery life, in my opinion, is more than adequate. I was easily getting at least a day and a half, and occasionally even up to two full days on one charge, even with light gaming and camera use.
Overall, the primary back camera was rather excellent. Landscape photographs in daylight had a lot of detail, brilliant colors, and even exposure. The primary camera automatically reduces shutter speed for optimum exposure in low light. Brightly illuminated regions sometimes appear overexposed and there is some roughness, however, switching to Night mode resolves both of these problems.
