Xiaomi Poco M3 Pro Summary
The company's most affordable 5G option right now is the Poco M3 Pro 5G. The "switchblade" design, as Poco calls it, features a gradient finish throughout with a blacked-out area on the upper left side of the body that resembles the camera module design on Samsung's S21 series. The 6.5-inch full-HD+ display has good color reproduction and is crisp.
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, which powers the Poco M3 Pro 5G, is extremely similar to the MediaTek Dimensity 800U except for having slower CPU cores and a slower GPU. Based on Android 11, MIUI 12.0.2 powers the device. Additionally, gaming performance was good, and demanding games like Call of Duty: Mobile performed well.
I was hoping to see an ultra-wide camera on the more costly Poco M3 Pro 5G because the Poco M3 doesn't have one. This is regrettably not the case. In conclusion, I believe Poco could have used better sensors for its "Pro" model or at the very least offered customers an ultra-wide camera to distinguish this phone from its sister.
