Motorola Moto G51 5G Summary
The Moto G51, the second 5G handset in the G series after the Moto G 5G, is Motorola's entry-level smartphone. Despite the fact that Motorola's low-cost 5G smartphone was released rather late in 2021, it has a few advantages that set it apart.
Its polycarbonate unibody construction makes it rather hefty (208g), but it also has an IP52 classification against water and dust, something the competition does not. With a few tweaks developed especially for Motorola, most of its slick and fluid software performance can be due to the use of practically stock Android software. The 120Hz high refresh rate display looks to have a role in the software experience being pretty fluid.
The competition performs better in this area, and the gaming performance is a touch lacking. There are three cameras on the back, and while they capture decent images in bright conditions, they struggle in dim light. The battery life is respectable and lasts around a day and a half with typical use. Using the included 20W charger, it takes the phone around two hours to charge completely.
